Ghost Mind + Special Guests
Stuart Wilding (cello/percussion) · Pete Robson (piano/trumpet) · Charlie Folorunsho (voice) · Barbie Mukoda (flutes) · Adrian Roper (voice) · Isaac Robson (bass) · Simon Lawson (saxophones) Ghost Mind present a live improvised film score — a collaboration between the core trio and invited guests. The group's signature practice weaves acoustic instruments, electronics, and a curated backdrop of global field recordings into a continuously evolving soundscape.
'Etudes' Study Group
Ningrui Liu aka Akira (voice) · Felix X Tigersonic (bass/electronics) · Jo Morrison (voice)
An experimental voice-and-electronics ensemble exploring structured improvisation through the lens of the etude form.
Torio
Freeland Green (words/found sounds) · Dominic Thurston (voice) · Tim Sayer (trumpet/electronics) A trio working at the intersection of spoken word, extended vocal technique, and live electronics.
ABOUT GHOST MIND
Ghost Mind are an experimental improvising ensemble based in Cheltenham and London. Founded in 2014, the group's practice centres on a distinctive concept: a core trio of Pete Robson (trumpet/piano), Stuart Wilding (percussion), and Charlie Folorunsho (voice), augmented by a continuously evolving backdrop of found sounds drawn from locations across the globe — the titular 'Ghost', a fourth, invisible member. Extended collaborators include Carina Tint (xiao/bamboo flutes), Zhuyang Liu (guzheng), and Barbie Mukoda (flutes).
The concept emerged from the Cheltenham Improvisers Orchestra, where the founding members sought a more intimate format that could sustain the textural and spatial qualities of large-ensemble free improvisation. Ghost
Mind have since performed widely across the UK and toured Germany, collaborating with Göttingen trio Brainville Desperados. Further collaborations span Rothko, Emi Watanabe, BeiBei Wang, Saltings, Lee Boyd Allotson, Chris Cundy, and numerous poets and performance artists. In 2017 they contributed a live improvised soundscape to a radio performance of Bill Drummond is Dead (Johny Brown / Tam Dean Burn) for Resonance FM.
ABOUT LO-FI IMPROVISATION PROJECT
Lo-Fi is a London-based curatorial and performance platform dedicated to improvised, experimental, and

Cine Brazil: Revolution Themed Screening
Our friends at CineBrazil see our revolution weekend with a screening of Iracema. This film was censored by the dictatorship in Brazil because of its exposing of the brutal conditions of the Trans Amazonian highway, what was hailed by the government at the time to be an ‘economic miracle’. From the perspective of a young girl travelling into the Amazon this film exposes the dark underbelly of exploitation, human trafficking and forced displacement.
Brazilian food and drinks (fejioadas and capirinhas) will be available - preorder at a discount by getting a food / drink combination ticket.
